Laboratory Technician Training
Through a partnership with Lab Tech Training, all ACIL members have access to an award-winning modular video program designed to provide both new and experienced laboratory employees with the skills necessary to be safe and effective laboratory technicians. The twelve-part program includes instruction on safety, the use of standard laboratory equipment, proper laboratory procedures, as well as math, the metric system, and understanding data/SQC. Review and test materials that maximize the effectiveness of the instruction accompany each tape. ACIL members will be given discounts of 30% off the regular costs of the award-winning video series.
ANSI Discount Program
ACIL is a member organization of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). ANSI has recently introduced a program that allows us to offer you, our members, access to ANSI’s standards and conformity assessment information and discounts on select standards purchased through ANSI’s Electronic Standards Store at no cost to ACIL Members. The program allows ACIL members to become Affiliate Members of ANSI. All ANSI Affiliate Program information is delivered electronically, via email or accessed through the web at ANSI online. ACIL’s Laboratory Referral Service
Each month, ACIL receives hundreds of inquiries from users of independent laboratory or testing services. ACIL has an invaluable referral service, ACIL Assist, which provides members with complimentary exposure to potential clients. ACIL Assist matches callers’ needs with members’ capabilities. Members are encouraged to update their company data with ACIL to avoid missing out on these valuable business referrals.

ACIL Seal of Excellence
Be recognized for your success! The ACIL Seal of Excellence Awards program provides users a mechanism for evaluating testing laboratories. Currently offered for the environmental testing industry, expansion of the program to other testing disciplines is under consideration.
