Principles of Internal Auditing and Measurement Uncertainty

Internal Auditing (Day 1-2)

Learning Objectives:
•    Cover elements of ISO/IEC 17025
•    Understand the basics of a continual improvement process
•    Understand the internal audit cycle
•    Responsibilities for the preparation, planning, conduct, and close out of internal audits
•    Learn how to conduct interviews of auditees, record observations, document audit findings, prepare an audit report and conduct a closing meeting

Measurement Uncertainty (Day 3)

Learning Objectives:
•    Identify contributors for the uncertainty of measurements
•    Understand metrology principles for all levels
•    Understand how to improve measurements taken in the laboratory
•    Workshop for calculating uncertainty
